Fleet Administrator assists in administrating and coordinating motor vehicle fleet operations. Understands OSHA, DOT, fleet-specific regulations, licensing, registration, and reporting requirements. Being a Fleet Administrator prepares and maintains accurate records of vehicles, insurance, and required regulatory filings and reporting. Coordinates repairs and preventative maintenance scheduling that support fleet vehicle availability requirements. Additionally, Fleet Administrator may assist with safety training and communication programs. May require an associate degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Fleet Administrator works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. Signal of Nevada is seeking a vehicle savvy individual to join our team as Fleet Coordinator. The Fleet Coordinator will work a part time schedule (days and specific times are available for discussion) to help manage the team's patrol vehicles (estimated 9 vehicles). You would report directly to ownership and maintain vehicles through; fueling, coordinating necessary repairs (if outside vendor required), and doing light maintenance of your own during your daily checks. This may include but is not limited to; filling tires with air, topping off fluids, replacing tires if needed, coordinating service maintenance such as oil changes, etc. You would be responsible for keeping a detailed record of each vehicle's condition and service logs. Present fleet is in Reno and surrounding areas (South Reno - Spanish Springs). You would have the ability to utilize a fleet vehicle while conducting your daily checks.
Position is part time (3-4 days a week), with a potential for 5-7 hours a day depending on vehicle needs and agreed upon duties. Ideal for someone seeking a part time position with flexibility. Active driver's license and clean driving record are required for the position.
