Flight Navigator locates the position of an aircraft and directs its course on domestic and international flights, using navigational aids. May require an associate's degree with at least 4 years of experience in the field. Being a Flight Navigator is familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Additionally, Flight Navigator performs a variety of complicated tasks. May direct and lead the work of others. AVIATION TASKS:
Aircraft instruction includes instructing in C172/C182/PA28.
Extensive use of visual simulators to prepare students efficiently and effectively for the flight tasks.
ENVIRONMENT:
You will have your own office with electronic and "grandfather's" whiteboard.
We have offices over two floors of a building right next to the ramp.
EXTERNAL:
Aircraft instruction also in owner aircraft, various makes and models.
Simulator instruction includes job preparation for charter and airline applicants.
Ground and simulator instruction for currency and upgrades/type rating preparation.
