Job Functions:

Fast-growing flight training school is seeking to add team member who has incredible people skills and a drive to make people smile. Looking for that special someone who can help organize and facilitate the “hustle” and growth of communication between teachers, students, and airplanes. This person will deal closely with the public and will be the first impression our company gives. They make sure that things are organized and well taken care of so that our students have the best education experience of any flight school.

The role involves overseeing the administrative operations of our flight school, ensuring smooth day-to-day activities, and contributing to the overall development of the school.

Basic Description:

• Answer the telephone with enthusiasm and a smile and provide information to callers

• Greet visitors with an even bigger smile and helpful attitude

• Facilitate communication between students and instructors

• Interface with maintenance personnel as needed

• Organize schedules and maintain student records

• Help keep our high-traffic office tidy and neat

• Attend community functions as a company representative

• Interface with the general public in outreach opportunities

• Handle invoicing, payment processing, and financial record-keeping

• Generate financial reports and provide weekly and monthly updates to the executive leadership

• Manage inventory and supplies for the office

• Generate regular reports on student enrollment, financial performance, and other key metrics

• Analyze data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement

• Setting up, promoting, and hosting EFA events

Skills

Applicant must have tight organizational skills, excellent communication skills and above average telephone etiquette. Basic computer skills (Windows, Internet Explorer, Microsoft Word and Excel) are a must. Basic math skills are necessary.

Knowledge:

Knowledge of aircraft or the aviation industry is not necessary. We're looking for associates who are willing to learn.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $20.00 per hour
