Integrated Business Planning
Our Integrated Business Planning (IBP) organization is seeking a Master Scheduler to assist in developing and maintaining achievable and compliant Aircraft Line schedules that support our contractual and customer requirements, as well as other ongoing activities related to maintaining enterprise Demand, Supply, and Inventory Plans for programs at our Amarillo Assembly Center.
The Master Scheduler will collaborate closely with our Assembly Centers and Industrial Engineers to determine capacity / rate constraints to develop achievable rate-based Aircraft line schedules that support customer requirements and delivery forecasts.
The role involves close coordination with Program Management, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance / EVMS and Contracts.
What you’ll be doing as a Master Scheduler
Maintain alignment of released Aircraft line schedules and operative networks to released current engineering configuration through weekly audits.
Ensure all inputs (WBS, WAs, etc.) required to ensure compliant AC configuration have been released.
Minimize risk of excess inventory generation through maintenance of independent demand networks as dependent demand is released.
Collaborate with Program Management team to develop and implement achievable aircraft line schedules that support Program and Enterprise financial goals and objectives.
Collaborate with Program Management and Finance Teams for assigned programs to provide delivery forecasts, AOP / LRP inputs and documented assumptions to the Integrated Business Planning process.
Based on updated delivery forecast and finance inputs, load proposed supply plans as scenarios in Kinaxis Rapid Response (KRR) to enable supply review and analysis needed to provide stakeholders with data needed to make informed decisions on demand, supply, inventory, and financial plans.
Process and monitor Independent Demand Requests (IDR) and Master Scheduling Change Board (MSCB) requests submitted to support AMA aircraft programs.
Qualifications
Skills You Bring To this Role
Proficiency in SAP, Excel, MS Project. Knowledge of Network Scheduling, Critical Path, Project Management.
Detail oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a team player mindset.
Ability to manage ambiguity and willing to make decisions and plans with incomplete information.
Ability to adjust to changing priorities and remain comfortable with unanticipated changes in direction.
Excellent communication skills and ability to build and maintain effective relationships with customers, internal and external suppliers, and brief leaders / customers.
What you need to be successful
Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or other technical discipline, Supply Chain Management, or Business Management.
Equivalent experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
