The Float House in Hope is currently looking for a full time Bartender to join our team.

We have an awesome crew that enjoys working together. The summer we get to play on the lake, and in the winter we go up to the mountain and work and Chimney Rock, so we are really looking for the right fit.
Duties:
- Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages following standard recipes
- Interact with customers, take orders, and provide recommendations when needed
- Handle cash and operate the cash register
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area and equipment
- Check customers' identification to ensure they meet the legal drinking age
- Monitor customer behavior and make sure they are not intoxicated
- Upsell additional products when appropriate
Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred
- Knowledge of math for measuring ingredients and handling transactions
- Familiarity with food service procedures
- Proficiency in using a cash register
- Strong customer service skills to engage with patrons effectively
- Understanding of food safety guidelines for handling beverages and snacks
- Experience working in a restaurant or hospitality environment is a plus
