Floor Operations Manager jobs in Iowa
Floor Operations Manager oversees the execution of securities orders on the floor of the exchange. Researches and resolves problems that occur during the trading process. Being a Floor Operations Manager monitors business volume and ensures timely processing of orders. May be responsible for the profitability of the floor brokers. Additionally, Floor Operations Manager requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a top management. The Floor Operations Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Floor Operations Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to handle incoming and outgoing products, maintain the showroom and perform a wide variety of other duties. This position requires a dependable, career-minded individual who can handle the physical aspects of the job, as well as deal with customers in a professional, courteous manner when needed.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE
- loading and unloading products with a forklift and by hand
- making deliveries
- gathering, preparing, and helping installers load products needed for a wide variety of projects
- maintaining warehouse and showroom
- setting up product displays
- managing supply inventory
- cleaning and janitorial duties
- computer work
REQUIREMENTS
- HS diploma or equivalent
- valid Iowa driver's license
- ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- minimum 2 years of experience
- basic computer skills
