Floor Operations Manager jobs in Maine

The Field Operations Project Manager will work directly with end users, architects, designers, and general contractors on luxury residential projects all over Maine. The successful candidate will be a highly motivated, detail oriented and driven professional preferably knowledgeable in the residential construction process. Starting salary based on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Regular interaction with designers, architects, contractors, and end users to assist their project needs.
• Follow all estimating, bidding, and selling practices established by the company.
• Work as a liaison between the sales team and the field.
• Contract review to ensure that the scope of work is recorded properly, and terms and conditions of the contract are agreeable.
• Project Management assistance on large projects from initial estimate to completion of install w/ high level of attention to installation coordination and detail.
• Review work completed on-site for proper installation and progress.
• Review weekly work reports and other project expenses.
• Perform other related duties as required to ensure a safe workplace, quality construction and timely completion of each project.
• Strong mathematical ability, exceptional organizational and communication skills, and a team first attitude are a must.

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Analyze and comprehend construction documents (ie. floor plans and specifications) to provide complete and accurate proposals in a timely fashion.
• 2 years’ experience in a similar position within a commercial construction environment, commercial flooring knowledge a plus!
• Previous customer facing and operations experience.
• Experience in project scheduling and coordination, project management, and general construction practices.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills are a must.
• Highly organized, motivated self-starter with the ability to set and achieve goals.
• Ability to work alone or as part of a team in a fast paced, time sensitive environment.
• Ability to multitask and effectively manage change.
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office, web-based applications, and can quickly learn new flooring software utilized throughout our company.
• Ability to work in the office and travel to customer sites as needed

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
