Job Overview
Hotel Bardo Savannah is seeking a passionate, service-driven Director of Food & Beverage to lead, and inspire our Food & Beverage teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences. The Director of Food & Beverage is a "culture setter" who creates and nurtures positive team dynamics across the property and is passionate about the Bardo brand and LEFT LANE's style of hospitality. Our ideal candidate will have outstanding people skills and thrive in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment that requires high levels of guest and team communication and interaction.
Responsibilities- Oversee each of the Resort's dining outlets, brand operations standards and performance with emphasis on training and teamwork, and accountability.
- Continually coach and provide constructive and timely feedback.
- Anticipate and respond to guest and club member needs in a timely and gracious manner.
- Provide exceptional service to guests and club members that go above and beyond their expectations.
- Maintain high standards of food and beverage quality, presentation, and service.
- Partner with the Brand team to successfully maintain and deliver against standards, programs and service expectations
- Develop annual budgets and monitor financial performance regularly.
- Establish challenging, yet realistic goals to direct operations and overall performance.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations.
- Manage inventory levels and implement inventory tracking systems.
- Foster and maintain positive working relationships and constant communication across all departments.
- Passionate about hospitality and providing elevated service with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a Food and Beverage leadership role, preferably in a luxury hotel environment
- A strong leader with a proven track record in guest and team member engagement and financial performance
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills, both written and verbal
