Food & Beverage Manager manages the daily activities of the organization's food and beverage function. Oversees food and beverage inventory and budget control. Being a Food & Beverage Manager assists the Food and Beverage Director in menu planning, preparation and presentation of food and drinks, and monitoring adherence to quality and safety standards. Assists in the planning and coordination of special events. Additionally, Food & Beverage Manager may require an associate degree or its equivalent. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Food & Beverage Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Food & Beverage Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     As our Food and Beverage Account Manager, you will partner with your local market team to ensure all client staffing orders are filled in a timely manner and compliance requirements are fulfilled to company and client standards.

    You will also work closely with your Market Manager on business development by bringing on new F&B staffing clients and expanding business with existing clients.

    This is a fast-paced position requiring daily travel to client sites and constant interaction with clients and associates.

    As a successful account manager, you will demonstrate a passion for customer service and build strong relationships with clients and field associates. You will put people and safety first and ensure positive and safe working environments. In addition, you will exemplify and champion Heart of the House’s values of providing quality service to all associates and clients.

    Key Job Responsibilities

    • Meet the daily demands of clients, field associates, and applicants to create a positive and safe working environment for all Heart of the House associates
    • Conduct final interviews, on-site drug screens, and other onboarding activities for placed candidates
    • Adhere to all aspects of systems compliance to ensure all associates and client information is consistently entered into systems for efficiency, quality reporting, and transparent knowledge sharing
    • Manage all assigned sites within your market to ensure all are properly staffed and be prepared to handle last-minute call-offs or situations where associates are unable to maintain their shifts
    • Champion all associates with a recognition that individuals placed at client locations are dedicated Heart of the House staff members who should always feel they are part of our team as they work out in the field

    Qualifications

    • This role requires 1 year of experience in hospitality operations, strong sales skills and a strong food and beverage background along with a proven customer-service focus, ideally in the hospitality industry
    • Associate-focused leader who proactively communicates, checks in, and monitors placed field associates to assist with any associate-relations needs that arise
    • Can provide daily ‘hands-on’ work and a willingness to travel 80% in market (daily, local visits to client sites)
    • Ability to adapt to ongoing changes and thrive in a fast-paced customer-service-driven environment
    • Excellent client relationship skills; ability to manage daily interactions and resolve problems
    • Constantly inquisitive with a desire to learn the details to better manage the business
    • Excellent internal and external verbal and written communication skills
    • Systems savvy; ideally with prior exposure to Salesforce and HRIS/Applicant Tracking Systems
    • May be required to work beyond normal scheduled hours when necessary and may be subjects to call-back during emergency conditions
    • Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent work experience
    • Bilingual English/Spanish
