Trader

Our team is comprised of passionate, forward-thinking professionals eager to take on the challenge of meeting client’s unique wealth management goals. We are looking for a candidate that is inspired by our values and motivated to help people achieve their investment, financial, and life goals.

The Trader executes the day-to-day implementation of model investment strategies. This entry level position works alongside the Investment Committee in managing client portfolios. The Trader plays an integral role of liaison between the Wealth Managers, Client Service Managers, and the Investment Management team.

Your Role

• Execute trades within client portfolios that include rebalancing, raising cash & investing new cash
• Enhance the tax efficiency of client portfolios and carry out tax loss harvesting strategies
• Assist Wealth Managers and Client Service Managers with policies and procedures related to investment management
• Recommend and implement transition plans to realign recently transferred assets in accordance with clients’ stated asset allocation strategy
• Works to assist other members of Trading and Research teams.
• Collaborate with the Operations and Compliance departments to ensure investment team’s adherence to firm policies and guidelines 

Requirements

What We Are Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Economics or related degree
• 1-3 years of research, trading, and portfolio management experience 
• Series 65 or willingness to pursue
• Experience working in a fast paced, team environment
• Experience with Excel, Black Diamond, Eze preferred
