Foundry Worker jobs in Washington

We are hiring! Wear-Tek is a steel foundry and machine facility located in Spokane, WA. We are currently looking for full time, long term employees to work in our foundry. This is a dirty and labor intensive job; however we have an excellent team of knowledgeable and dedicated people pulling towards the common goal of being profitable. LIST OF JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

- Using a variety of grinders to remove excess material from steel and iron castings

- Making silica sand molds and cores

- Melting and pouring molten steel into molds

- Operating lift trucks, overhead jibs, and cranes

- The entry level employee will have a variety of duties that require the use of heavy lifting, learning to use machines, power tools, and forklifts as needed

- Applicants must be able to listen and communicate well, learn new jobs quickly, and work cooperatively with other members of the team

SCHEDULE:

- Full time M-F with some Saturdays

- Day, swing, and night shifts available
