Fraud Prevention Associate researches and analyzes potential customer fraud cases to identify and prevent future fraud. Reviews and responds to suspected fraudulent service requests and identifies fraudulent transactions using various research methods. Being a Fraud Prevention Associate follows standard procedures to document a loss and prepares a summary and reconciliation. Communicates the status and resolution of the incident to the customer and/or bank. Additionally, Fraud Prevention Associate identifies areas that need increased security procedures or software to protect customer accounts. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. SUMMARY
The Associate Director of Prevention Programs will work with the prevention team to implement strategies and timelines for department projects and project deliverables while supporting the effective day-to-day operation of the team. The overall goal will be to support work in multiple settings to improve and expand school and community-based prevention resources and education. This position will manage the strategic development of various training curriculums, relationship building, and the creation of communication vehicles to build the capacity of stakeholders. They will ensure that program elements are effectively implemented through the use of organizational tools and systems to efficiently meet grant deliverables.

The Program Manager is a driver of organizational initiatives and priorities including the daily organization of tasks, resource development, marketing, and special events.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND ABILITIES:
WORK CONTEXT:
The work environment is hybrid with the office located in East Hartford. Travel is statewide, primarily during the business day. Some nights, weekends, and out-of-state may be required. Travel will be based on CDC guidelines to community sites, meetings, schools, conferences and trainings both in and out-of-state.
The position requires the use of Zoom or other video conferencing technologies, electronic mail, reading and writing letters, memos and other correspondence, and requires telephone and face-to-face conversations with external clients and other constituents both individually and in groups. The position requires meeting grant deliverables and deadlines.
The position requires leading and influencing others in accomplishing work activities; and making decisions that impact the work of others, the successful implementation and execution of program requirements. This position offers opportunities to make decisions without supervision and the flexibility to determine tasks, priorities, and goals.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
The position requires sitting/standing and utilizing a computer daily, and using other office equipment such as printers, projectors, and new technology as the need arises, on an as needed basis. The position requires occasionally lifting up to twenty pounds to transport materials to and from meetings, events and trainings.
