Duties: - Operate and monitor furnace equipment to ensure proper functioning - Set and adjust controls for temperature, pressure, and time according to specifications - Load and unload materials into the furnace using appropriate tools and equipment - Monitor gauges, meters, and indicators to ensure optimal furnace performance - Conduct regular inspections of furnace equipment to identify any issues or malfunctions - Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubricating, and replacing parts as needed - Troubleshoot equipment problems and make necessary adjustments or repairs - Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area Requirements: - Previous experience as a Furnace Operator or similar role - Strong knowledge of furnace operations and maintenance procedures - Proficient in programming and operating furnace controls - Familiarity with tools such as micrometers, machining equipment, electrical discharge machining (EDM), CNC machines, press brake machines, cranes, etc. - Ability to read blueprints and interpret geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) - Skilled in quality inspection techniques to ensure product specifications are met - Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills - Ability to work effectively in a team environment This is a full-time position with competitive pay.
