Chipton-Ross is seeking a General Laborer for a contract opportunity in Moses Lake, WA.
This position is 100% onsite.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
Receives, distributes, and maintains materials within stores and conducts inventory processes in a timely and efficient fashion ensuring quality standards are attained.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
o Dispositions and resolves receiving / grief issues.
o Maintains inventory accuracy through daily spot checks and produces cycle count sheets.
o Responds to material requests from production.
o Supports Lead / Supervisor in organizing team members to meet program expectations as needed. Serves as backup for Lead / Supervisor as needed.
o Performs inspections on incoming materials to validate goods are as ordered and proper documentation has been provided and follows proper procedures to disposition discrepancies.
o Labels and identifies materials for quick retrieval and traceability within the stores warehouse.
o Enters receiving / issuing transactions into ERP system.
o Assists the Quality department with traceability requirements.
o Picks up and delivers materials from various locations as needed.
o Prepares and packages materials for shipment.
o Contributes to the materials management reporting systems to meet company requirements.
o Maintains a neat, organized work area and contributes to the daily housekeeping of the department.
o Wears safety equipment as required and follows safety guidelines / procedures.
o Properly adheres to training and GHS / SDS guidelines when handling Hazardous Materials.
o Maintains regular attendance including being at work, being on time to work and working full shifts.
o Other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE :
o Ability to communicate in English (read, write, and verbally communicate).

o Ability to operate a forklift.

MISCELLANEOUS :
This work assignment has been designated as "safety-sensitive" by the Client. Contractors assigned to safety-sensitive jobs at the Client site must first complete regulatory pre-placement requirements prior to reporting to assignment.
Additionally, contractors assigned to safety-sensitive work will be subject to random drug and alcohol testing in accordance with federal mandates.
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
