General Maintenance Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced General Maintenance worker to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as painting, plumbing, electrical work, and carpentry
• Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and systems to identify issues and make necessary repairs
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and systems to ensure their longevity
• Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and efficient manner
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance work performed
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proven experience in general maintenance work
• Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and carpentry systems
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
