Job Description
Drafts and completes grant applications according to application requirements. Ensures grant is submitted on time and within application parameters.
Completes all documents, forms, or reports required by the grant. Coordinates the monitoring and evaluation of programs and projects that are funded by grants.
Assist in providing grant conformity with laws, stipulations, regulations governing contracts, grant monitoring, and program and financial reporting.
Perform professional administrative functions coordinating, facilitating, monitoring and maintaining all grant agreements entered into by the Brevard County Sheriff's Office.
Employee is expected to use considerable initiative and independent judgment in the performance of regular technical tasks.
Work is performed under the general direction of the Finance Director.

Work is performed in an office environment; work is completed during normal business hours (Monday through Friday 8am - 5pm);
fluctuations in work hours, if any, are minimal.
During an emergency, the Sheriff will determine who is considered an emergency responder and whose work is necessary to maintain the operation of law enforcement and correctional facilities.
This determination is subject to change based on staffing and the operational needs of the agency.
Successful completion of a criminal background investigation including polygraph, reference / employment / neighborhood checks.
