Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Grinder to join our team. The Grinder will be responsible for operating machinery to grind, clean, plastics rods to remove excess material or burrs from surfaces.
Duties:
- Set up and operate grinding machines to grind plastics workpieces according to specifications
- Inspect workpieces for defects and measure workpieces with precision tools such as calipers and micrometers
- Perform basic mathematical calculations related to dimensions and tolerances
- Lift and move materials using forklifts and cranes as needed
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Grinder using center less grinder
- Proficiency in using calipers, micrometers, hand tools, plasma cutting, welding equipment, and various tooling
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Ability to operate forklifts and cranes safely
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints or technical drawings
