York Saw & Knife Company (a.k.a. Oleson Saw Technology) has an opening for a CNC machine operator. The base hours are 7:00AM-3:30PM Monday thru Friday; overtime may be needed on occasion. York Saw/Oleson Saw is based in York, PA with a band saw division in Post Falls, ID. We are a family-owned business dedicated to supporting our primary lumber industry clients with quality, custom manufactured band saws.

As a swage/grinder operator, you will be responsible for the manufacturing and sharpening of cutting teeth on large band saws. This position is a detail-oriented quality driven area that requires a high level of problem-solving abilities and critical thinking. Each operator is responsible for the set-up, production, quality control and maintenance of the machines in the tooth department.

• Demonstrate excellent attendance;
• Display excellent teamwork and communication skills;
• Have a passion for the quality and detail of your craftsmanship;
• Knowledgeable with using measuring tools (calipers, micrometers);
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills to overcome challenges;
• Basic computer skills to program and operator CNC grinders;
• Ability to operate in a production environment while maintaining quality standards;
• Record keeping and documentation skills
