The Grocery Stocker may also be responsible for new product displays. Responsible for adequately stocking grocery store shelves. Being a Grocery Stocker assists customers in finding requested grocery items or with questions regarding pricing. Prices new items and ensures that price changes are carried out appropriately. In addition, Grocery Stocker handles all grocery products in a safe, sanitary manner. Maintains cleanliness and neatness. May require a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Being a Grocery Stocker may require 0-1 year of general work experience. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. We have associates working around the clock – stocking shelves, replenishing fruits and veggies, cooking, baking, and cleaning. Our Grocery department is looking for a dependable associate who can work both individually and as part of a team. The main duties will include stocking shelves, rotating product and displays, changing signs, and some minor cleaning. Hours are typically from 11pm to 7am.
Qualifications- A desire to make folks happy by providing Honestly Better® Food and Service.
- A willingness to learn about and taste great food.
- A willingness to practice the DLM Team Values: Be Honest, Safe, Helpful, and Hard-Working
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Prior stocking experience is preferred.
- 18 years or older.
- Standing for long periods of time.
- Lifting up to 60lbs.
- Must have holiday and weekend availability.
