Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Additionally, Hard Tile Setter relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Acts Acquisition & Development Company is currently seeking qualified candidates for our Construction Tradesman - Tile Setter position.Requirements:
In this role, you will be responsible for all basic functions of tile setting, including but not limited to demolition, cutting, laying and setting tiles around obstacles and openings, and different surfaces. Measures, prepares, and marks surfaces. Mixes, applies, and spreads cement or other adhesives. Operates a variety of hand tools, power tools, and other equipment. Other aspects of construction may be required.The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:- Minimum of five years' experience in construction or maintenance related field
- Proficient in using hand and power tools
- Understanding of blueprints, schematics, and construction documents
- Knowledge of building codes and safety requirements (OSHA)
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license
