Head Golf Professional is responsible for the overall day-to-day operations and services of the golf course, including the golf shop, tournaments, practice facilities, and cart fleet. Ensures golf facilities are properly maintained. Being a Head Golf Professional coordinates marketing programs to promote the facility's services to potential customers and oversees member events and daily play. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Head Golf Professional requires an active Professional Golfers' Association (PGA) membership. Typically reports to a golf course general manager. The Head Golf Professional manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. We are seeking an ambitious food and beverage professional / bartender to join our team! You will be expected to and prepare food and bar tend for our members and the public. Also, you'll be engaged in cash registry functions with scheduling golfers.
Primary Functions:
1) Performs closing/opening procedures using cash registry
2) Ensure pleasant customer relations with the public
3) Strong communications skills with employees and the public
4) Prepare food and bar tend when requested
5) Keep restaurant and pro shop environment clean and tidy
6) Schedule golfers for tee times
7) Use a point-of-sale system
Note: This position is mainly a late morning and early evening work schedule. We are open year-round.
