Head Nurse - Industrial directs nursing service activities in an industrial setting. Provides care to patients with emergency industrial accidents and surgery outpatients. Being a Head Nurse - Industrial plans and conducts training programs to promote employee health and safety in the workplace. Delegates responsibilities to auxiliary and industrial staff nurses. Additionally, Head Nurse - Industrial maintains pre-set inventory standards for solutions, supplies, medicines and equipment, and keeps track of narcotics. Requires a bachelor's degree in nursing. Requires Registered Nurse (RN). Typically reports to a director. The Head Nurse - Industrial manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. You will proctor a written exam and/or a practical skills exam for candidates completing the National Nurse Aide Assessment Program® (NNAAP®) exam. The skills demonstration exam is timed and consists of observing the nurse aide candidate demonstrate five randomly selected skills from a predetermined test pool of practical skills.
You choose the locations and exams you are willing to administer based on your availability.
The time commitment is flexible and varies per the number of candidates to be tested.
