Head Nurse - Industrial directs nursing service activities in an industrial setting. Provides care to patients with emergency industrial accidents and surgery outpatients. Being a Head Nurse - Industrial plans and conducts training programs to promote employee health and safety in the workplace. Delegates responsibilities to auxiliary and industrial staff nurses. Additionally, Head Nurse - Industrial maintains pre-set inventory standards for solutions, supplies, medicines and equipment, and keeps track of narcotics. Requires a bachelor's degree in nursing. Requires Registered Nurse (RN). Typically reports to a director. The Head Nurse - Industrial manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Head Nurse - Industrial typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1-3 years supervisory experience may be required. We are seeking a skilled Industrial Mechanic to join our team in Lee's Summit, MO. The ideal candidate will have experience in equipment repair and maintenance, with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
Responsibilities:- Tear down equipment, utilizing manufacturer’s recommendations and industry best practices
- Inspect equipment and parts for wear and damage
- Diagnose possible reason(s) for failure
- Provide information on parts and additional work required
- Provide recommendations to improve the reliability of the equipment
- Complete information in reports as required
- Paint and prepare equipment for shipment
- Load, secure to truck, and deliver equipment as necessary
- Clean and organize shop as required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in equipment repair and maintenance
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
