DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
-Works with agency producers, clients, and underwriters to get accurate information to service existing accounts and write new business.
-Builds relationships with clients and multiple carriers to provide excellent customer service experience on behalf of the agency.
-Provides account management by creating endorsements and change requests and providing Certificates of Insurance, binders, auto ID cards, thorough account renewal reviews and summaries, and active tracking of account activity within agency's management system (Applied Epic).
-Reviews quotes, binders, and endorsements, and make requests for changes as needed.
- Analyzes client insurance needs and recommends appropriate coverage options.
-Identifies, compiles, and manages information regarding account renewals.
-Transmits policies and policy documents to clients in a timely manner.
-Maintains files with proper records according to company procedures.
-Informs clients of changes that may affect insurance premiums or coverage.
-Performs additional responsibilities as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
-Property& Casualty Insurance License required.
-3 years experience working within the insurance field.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to analyze complex insurance policies and provide clear explanations to clients.
-Ability to prioritize tasks and meet projected deadlines. Strong organizational and time management skills a must.
-Ability to work in a team and exercise independent judgement.
-Ability to work quickly and shift gears as daily tasks necessitate.
-Computer savvy with working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Agency Management Systems.
-A bachelor's degree is preferred.
-Understanding of the agricultural field is a plus.
