Roles and Responsibilities Policy Admin/Booking Enter risk and policy data into the Operations systems within defined service level Control proactively Salesforce prospects on an ongoing basis and ensure Underwriting is submitting booking information in a timely manner and that declined/NTU business is properly updated in Salesforce (è keep Salesforce clean) Ensure high data quality in Operations systems (Salesforce, SPARC, Eclipse) through checks and reviews Ensure Taxes are correctly declared / booked and processed internally Establish premium invoices within a set timeframe after inception Establish brokerage and Co-Insurance statement within a set timeframe after receiving premium payment and initiate payout process. Credit Control Work on aged debt on a weekly basis Ensure overdue debt is reported to Underwriters and execute on agreed actions Ensure stage and comments for Finance team are up to date in Eclipse Handle bordereaux and ensure claims information is shared with Claims team Handle premium payments (based on “payments & receipts” file) and make sure policy assignment is being done in a timely manner. Avoid any backlog. Advise reinsurance department to ensure Facultative R/I can be paid out once premium received. Administration/Other Drive continuous improvement of Operations and Underwriting Processes within own area of responsibility Support the implementation of global Operations projects Pro-actively inform internal / external stakeholders Ensure filing of Operations documentation is complete Assist in training of underwriters and new admin staff as required Other administrative office tasks as deems appropriate Experience Technical accounting or similar experience Preferably with insurance background Ideal candidate worked in the technical accounting department of a corporate insurance unit/company Skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proactive and team worker. Capable of multitasking and flexible when delegating some tasks.
