Health Value Analyst analyzes product research and clinical outcomes data, and prepares financial analyses to ensure that hospital supply management activities optimize the delivery of cost-effective, quality healthcare. Determines the clinical and financial impact of adding new products and technologies to the hospital product line. Being a Health Value Analyst evaluates prospective technologies that may significantly impact revenue and support strategic planning. May require a bachelor's degree of specialty. Additionally, Health Value Analyst typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Health Value Analyst contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. Systems Analysts support their assigned functional area(s) within DRH Health, ensuring the area(s) are fully supported in their day-to-day operations. This role supports all clinical and/or business applications deployed within their respective functional area(s).

    The Systems Analyst assists with defining needs, benefits, and technical strategy; research and development; technical analysis, prototyping, and design; implementation, evaluation, and modification of automated systems; support of team members in executing, testing, and implementing solutions.

    Responsibilities

    • Define needs, benefits, and technical strategy for assigned area(s).
    • Perform research and development and technical analysis and design.
    • Test, integrate, and implement solutions including interface knowledge.
    • Interact with end-users to assist in problem definition and system management. Analyze and solve problems or forward to appropriate next level of support.
    • Ensure reliability and accuracy of service monitoring tools and integrations.
    • Perform proactive analysis to identify potential problems and recommend performance enhancements.
    • Coordinate and conduct education and/or end-user training to assure systems are utilized as designed.
    • Develop end-user documentation and/or a permanent reference for clear, concise information. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation.
    • Provide requirements and recommendations for service-level monitoring best practices and assist in the implementation of monitoring tools.
    • Work closely with other IT team members to understand infrastructure, network, and applications behind the services being monitored.
    • Research and evaluate new and updated products, features, and capabilities in monitoring tools to ensure continual service improvement. Assist with new system selection, implementation, testing, and training.
    • Regular attendance and punctuality for scheduled shifts.
    • Must adhere to safety protocols at all times.
    • Implement DRH Standards of Behavior and exhibit behaviors consistent with DRH core values.
    • Performs other related duties as assigned by the department Director.
