SCOPE OF WORK
The Program/Project Manager is responsible for facilitating the successful achievement of overarching organizational goals through providing traditional and non-traditional operations support and project management. He/she is responsible for facilitating and coordinating all operations-initiated programs and compliance initiatives as well as be the implementation of contract deliverables, monitoring project timelines and budgets, leading team meetings, assist with managing contract staff, and serves as the lead administrator for project/contracts as assigned. You will be responsible for day-to-day operations and ensure staff oversight and satisfaction. As the PM, you should demonstrate excellent organizational skills and the ability to perform well in stressful situations.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead all operations including but is not limited to: contract oversight and management, maintaining a motivated, engaged & effective team, optimizing staff utilization, ensuring policies & procedures are followed, and implementing company-wide initiatives.
- Creates a culture of collaboration and accountability, and places emphasis on employee development.
- Evaluates employee performance; places emphasis on employee development and makes recommendations for promotions.
- Contribute to organizational performance by monitoring progress of contracted activities.
- Proactively identify risks to project schedule and budget and participate in the development of risk mitigation strategies.
- Coordination of training activities that may be required by our clients including cybersecurity and safe management of Government information.
- Schedule, support, and monitor the timely development and delivery of all project deliverables (contractual products).
- Manage and/or assist with managing contract assigned staff, as needed.
- Responsible for maintenance and updates to all project archives.
- Serve as the initial change control point for project(s) by maintaining regular contact with the contract staff and Government technical Point(s) of Contact (POC).
- Work closely with clients to manage scope, contractor performance, communicate and mitigate risks, and ensure timely delivery of all contract requirements.
- Directly support Project Management activities to assist government clients in achieving their mission critical activities, as needed.
- Participate in several team meetings per week, record meeting minutes, provide updates, support and contribute to business development efforts, as needed.
- Assist with development of internal processes, policies, and databases, as needed.
- Thoroughly understands all programs and serves as a subject matter expert on the programs. Ensures all staff are kept informed of any new programs or changes to existing programs, and (cross) trains staff to be subject matter experts as well.
- Fully capable of performing the roles of all other staff and serves as back-up on those duties as needed.
- Ensures the clinics compliance with all applicable laws, rules, regulations, and standards, including HIPAA and HITRUST.
- Performs other related duties to benefit the mission of the organization.
- Must have occasional weekend availability.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Health Administration, or related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications, especially PMP, are a plus.
- Experience: At least 1 to 2 years of project management experience in health communications or public health (required), with experience in managing government-funded projects, preferably with HHS, CMS or Medicaid (preferred).

- Government Familiarity: Familiarity with government operations, particularly HHS or CMS preferred.
- Leadership Skills: Ability to lead and motivate a team within a structured government project framework.
- Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills.
- Communication Skills: Outstanding communication and negotiation skills, adept at managing stakeholder relationships in a government setting.
- Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving skills with a proven track record of proactive issue resolution.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in project management software tools and platforms commonly used in government projects.
Language Skills:
- The candidate must possess excellent spoken and written communication skills in English.
SALARY: Commensurate with qualifications and experience.
