**Join Our Compassionate Team ****2024 VT Best Places to Work**At Senior Solutions (Area Agency on Aging in Southeastern Vermont), we are seeking a Help Desk IT Support Specialist for our Springfield, Vermont office. Strong organizational, communication, and computer skills are required.In this role, you'll be the go-to person for providing technical support and resolving issues across multiple sites. You'll also have the chance to share your expertise by delivering training sessions to both individuals and groups across the agency. It's a great opportunity to expand your technical skills, make a real difference in supporting users, and contribute to a dynamic team environmentJob Duties:
- Trains end users in the use of equipment and software.
- Installs new hardware and software and maintains existing components.
- Troubleshoots and resolves issues with user devices and peripheral equipment located throughout the organization.
- Provides technical solutions to improve efficiency.
- Performs analytical, technical, and administrative work in the planning and installation of new and existing personal devices and workstations.
- Works closely with Europa IT, our outside IT provider.
Qualifications:- 1-3 years of relevant experience in a customer (employee) focused position involving technical knowledge of a companies’ products and services.
- Extensive experience working with different operating systems including Windows, SharePoint and One Drive.
- High School diploma required.
- 1-2 years of experience using computers, computer network systems, project management, information security laws, network maintenance, and OR electronic information control technologies.
- A valid driver’s license, clean driving record and access to reliable transportation and willingness and ability to travel within southeastern Vermont required.
Physical Demands/Working Conditions:- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
- May need to respond to staff phone calls, text messages or emails sometimes outside of normal working hours to provide emergency support.
- This position may include some opportunities to work remotely with advanced permission of the manager.
