Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Stone Sawyer to join our team. The Sawyer will be responsible for cutting all stone slab material. Experience with marble, granite, quartzite and quartz materials is a must. Forklift operation, and knowledge, is highly desirable. Starting pay will be determined based on prior experience.
Responsibilities:
- Operate bridge saw to fabricate materials according to specifications
- Read and interpret shop drawings to ensure accurate cuts
- Inspect materials for quality and accuracy before and after cutting
- Maintain a clean and organized work area. Must be able to move and store stone remnants.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years experience in cutting stone slabs required.
- Proficiency in operating a forklift is a plus
- Knowledge of stone slab layout is beneficial
- Ability to read shop drawings and work with templates.
