Join our well-intervention team as a Winch Operator. Winch Operators conduct common supportive activities during all stages of the hydraulic workover and snubbing operations and perform basic maintenance activities and/or equipment preparations.  Work is rotational on U.S. land and offshore locations.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High School or GED equivalent preferred
• Ability to pass a post-offer physical examination and drug screen
• Follow safety requirements and take an active part in safety meetings, risk assessments, hazard hunts, and JSAs
• Basic ability to understand, speak, read and write English
• Basic computer skills
• Knowledge of and ability to read and comprehend equipment certification and test charts.
• Assist in rig-up and rig-down of HWO or Snubbing unit 
• Operate the CB winch during pipe-tripping operation with all tubular sizes
• Inspect winch packages for correct installation on gin pole and hydraulics for leaks and other visible problems
• Maintain general housekeeping, cleaning, painting equipment, etc. on location and at the yard
• Function test winch equipment while fully rigged up
• Install all cables on gin pole. (Counterbalance, Main Hoist, and Scoping cable)
• Assist in basket operation as trainer and replacement

WORKING CONDITIONS  

• Ability to enter confined spaces by use of ladders or other access devices, up to 20 feet.
• Perform work in all types of environmental and extreme weather conditions.
• Perform duties with all protective equipment and H2S respirator when required.
