Home Care Aide jobs in North Carolina

Home Care Aide provides household management activities to enable patients in independence at home. Assists patient with self-administered medications and emotional supports. Being a Home Care Aide typically requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or a manager. Additionally, Home Care Aide may require CPR certified. The Home Care Aide possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area.     Job Responsibilities for HHA – Home Health Aide:


    • Activities of daily living
    • Light housekeeping
    • Bathing
    • Grooming
    • Toileting
    • Nail care
    • Range of motion / exercises
    • Transfers / use of mechanical lifting devices
    • Oral feeding
    • Vital sign checks: temperature, pulse, respiration
    • Home Management Tasks: laundry, meal preparation, bed making etc.
    • Assisting with ambulation
    • Medication assistance
