FULL TIME, Horse Trainer

We are looking for a full time horse trainer to work with our high quality horses. We specialize in rope horses; the training, breeding and selling of high quality Quarter Horses. Ideal candidate will have an upbeat personality, have excellent riding and horsemanship skills with experience in starting colts, training young horses, roping steers and possibly other disciplines, team roping, working cow horse, and reining or cutting.

Requirements:

Extensive horse knowledge and experience; excellent work ethic; exceptional production (high quality work); psychologically robust (ability to handle stress and abstain from drama).

Must be comfortable working with stallions, mares, and young horses of all ages. Previous experience starting and training colts is required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $42,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• Weekends as needed
