Pend Oreille Shores Resort is now hiring a full-time year-round Housekeeping Supervisor. We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated person to join our hospitality team. As one of the heads of our housekeeping department, you will recruit, hire, and train our housekeeping team to maximize quality and minimize costs. You will perform daily inspections of rooms and public areas and ensure exceptional service to all customers. Additionally, you ensure adequate inventory levels of cleaning products, resort amenities and rental items, maintain a schedule for laundry, and collaborate with other department heads and managers to create an enjoyable experience for every guest. Our ideal candidate has five or more years of experience in the hospitality industry, particularly in a leadership role. Some general repair and maintenance experience is a plus.

Job Description:
· Lead, hire, and train hotel housekeeping staff to adhere to our high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
· Schedule staff and organize replacements as needed.
· Monitor all the daily operations of the housekeeping department, including the cleanliness of all guest rooms and public areas daily.
· Inspecting rooms to ensure that company standards of cleanliness are met.
· Take inventory, write orders and ensure there is a stock of adequate cleaning supplies
· Document areas cleaned by room attendants and report any issues such as room damage or maintenance requests.
· Perform daily housekeeping cleaning duties as part of the housekeeping team.
· Ensure all cleaning equipment is in proper working condition and repair or make arrangements for repairs as needed.
· This position involves being outside as you move from building to building and some physical labor. Housekeepers need to possess the ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time. Additionally, housekeepers often need to move, carry, push, and lift up to 75 pounds
· Keeps the building and property in clean and orderly condition.
· Performs routine maintenance activities.
· Performs heavy cleaning duties.
· Sweeps, mops, scrubs, or vacuums floors.
· Gathers and empties trash.
· Scrubs, sanitizes, and supplies restroom facilities.
· Dusts furniture, walls, and equipment.
· Cleans windows, mirrors, and partitions with soap and other cleansers.
· Mixes cleaning solutions and chemicals in containers in preparation for cleaning, according to instructions.
· Follows procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power machinery to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
· Cleans and polishes fixtures and furniture.
· Shampoos or steam-cleans carpets and rugs.
· Cleans and polishes furniture and fixtures.
· All other duties as assigned by Management.
Housekeeping Supervisor Requirements:
· Supervisory experience in hospitality housekeeping management as an executive housekeeper, housekeeping supervisor or manager, or similar position.
· Applicants should be excellent leaders, detail-oriented, and demonstrate a commitment to customer service.
· Excellent organizational, communication, and management skills.
· Ability to prioritize tasks and get them done in a timely manner.
· Must have reliable transportation.
