    Job Summary and Purpose:

    The HRIS Manager will support and maintain internal HR systems, services, and applications used by Ceva North America to process payroll and manage employee data.  The manager will also lead the team responsible for processing multi-state payroll in compliance with company policy, GAAP and federal, state and local regulations.  This role has primary responsibility for the integrity of the data in Ceva’s HRIS systems, including process flows, data management and the configuration of the local systems and interfaces with global tools.

     

     

    Responsibilities and Key Duties:

     

    ·         Serve as project lead for all HRIS/Payroll system projects. Fills role of HRIS subject matter expert.

    ·         Leads team responsible for processing multi-state bi-weekly payroll

    ·         Ensure updates of employee data within Ceva’s IT tools. Maintain and monitor file transfers to associated systems for data integrity and timeliness of updates, and identify difficulties or inconsistencies of interfaces.

    ·         Leads team that provides support and maintenance of the HRIS through day-to-day data entry of employee changes, including new hires, terminations, position and compensation changes, etc. Troubleshoot system issues, escalating as necessary. Maintenance of code tables.

    ·         Responsible for the creation, implementation, documentation and revision of HR and payroll processes and workflows. Drives process improvement initiatives.

    ·         Partners with the Compensation and Benefits team to ensure HRIS system is optimized for successful benefit enrollment events. Update employee records in any relevant third-party carrier systems.

    ·         Ensure accurate benefits deductions and payroll-related changes due to leaves of absence.

    ·         Verify and submit 401k and HSA funding files.

    ·         Coordinate and/or assist with required reports, audits and filings for payroll and benefits.

    ·         Support year-end and quarterly payroll audits. Respond to auditing and regulatory authorities as needed.

    ·         Oversee the maintenance of confidential employee files and records.

    ·         First point of contact for routine and ad-hoc reporting needs. Provides finance department with necessary reports and information to manage cash flow.

    ·         May have responsibility for a new HRIS/payroll system implementation

    ·         Respond to unemployment claims and handle verification of employment requests.

    ·         Contribute to payroll and benefits projects and other duties as necessary.

    ·         Coaches, manages and develops a HR Coordinator.

    ·         Ability to keep information confidential.

    ·         Thorough understanding of database construction.

    ·         Thorough understanding of all areas of information systems with a highly technical understanding of at least one commercial HRIS product.

    ·         Financial Acumen

     

    Qualifications:

    Education – Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Human Resources Management, or other related degree.

     

    Work Experience – Minimum of 5 years HRIS systems experience required.  Previous experience with multi-state payroll. Management experience is strongly preferred. Experience with Ceridian Dayforce a plus.
