Job Title: HRIS Director (Workday)

Job Description:

A global fashion retailer is seeking a visionary HRIS Director with expertise in Workday HCM and a proven track record of building and leading teams to success. This person will lead their strategic initiatives, driving efficiency, innovation, and collaboration across all HR functions.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute our Workday roadmap, aligning HRIS initiatives with organizational goals.
• Lead a high-performing HRIS team, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Provide strategic guidance on the use of Workday and functionalities to optimize HR processes and enhance employee experience.
• Spearhead HRIS-related projects, including system implementations, configurations, upgrades, integrations, and process improvements.
• Guide organizational change efforts related to HRIS implementations, ensuring seamless transitions.
• Implement and monitor security controls, access permissions, and audit trails to safeguard sensitive HR data and mitigate risks.
• Cultivate strong relationships with HR, IT, and business stakeholders to deliver integrated solutions.
• Stay on top of Workday updates, releases, and industry best practices to ensure the organization maximizes the benefits of the platform.
• Build and maintain relationships with Workday representatives and vendors to leverage their expertise and resources in supporting system needs.
• Utilize Workday analytics and reporting capabilities to provide insights and metrics on HR performance, trends, and workforce analytics to support data-driven decision-making.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Extensive experience (7 years) in HRIS leadership roles, with a proven track record of success in Workday HCM implementations and optimizations, including hands-on experience with all or most of the following modules: Benefits, Recruiting, Talent Management, Compensation, Advanced Compensation, and Payroll.
• Experience leading and mentoring a team of HRIS professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Deep understanding of Workday HCM modules, configurations, and integrations, with relevant certifications preferred.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data visualization tools to drive data-driven decision-making across HR functions.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Strategic mindset with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement, coupled with a strong commitment to delivering results and exceeding expectations.
