    You’ll join our corporate human resources team and have a hand in a variety of aspects of human resources, including: payroll, compensation, benefits, recruiting and hiring, employee relations, and retention.     What You’ll Take Ownership Of

    • You are a doer and thrive on autonomy: In this role you’ll get to Implement and assist with a wide variety of human resources programs and processes, including employment processing, payroll, compensation, 401k, benefits and total rewards, compliance management, training and development, records management, safety and health, talent acquisition, engagement, employee relations and retention, and reporting

    Need-To-Haves

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Management, Communications, or related field, or equivalent experience
    • 2 years or more of on-the-job human resources experience
    • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
    • Thorough understanding of laws, regulations, and agency interpretations or opinions related to hiring, retention, and general employment
    • You want to work for a progressive, 650 employee company that is fast-growing and thrives on constantly improving.
    • You are able to work autonomously with little direction (but ample support) and are given the power to make decisions to get things done.
    • You can creatively solve problems. You need to be able to think outside of the box, because doing the same thing over and over usually gets the same result
    • Strong technology skills experience working with Microsoft Office Suite, HRIS, ATS, and digital marketing platforms
    • Communication skills are key; both verbal and written. We are in the business of people and work with people at every stage of life with every communication style you can imagine. The ability to communicate empathetically, accurately, and professionally during both good and hard conversations is required frequently throughout each day
    • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced work environment; work as a team or independently; ability to manage relationships with employees and upper management, including Directors and Senior Management
    • Exceptional business acumen; analytical, forecasting, reporting, attention to detail and organizational skills
    • Flexibility and willingness to assist other HR team members as needed

    Love-To-Haves

    • 3 years of effective HR experience for a mid- to large-sized company
    • Bonus points for ADP, tool and equipment, or retail industry knowledge
    • Employment offers are contingent on a drug screen and background check. This position is required to work in-office in Grand Forks, ND a majority of the time.
