Human Resources Supervisor administers human resources policies and programs and directs the human resources staff in managing and implementing programs that support employee productivity and company objectives. Provides day-to-day oversight of various human resources functions critical to the organization, including recruiting, employee/labor relations, health and safety, compensation, benefits, training, diversity, employee engagement, payroll, and employee records. Being a Human Resources Supervisor supervises and trains staff that provides operational and administrative support for recruiting, onboarding, and other hr functions and programs. Develops consistent and standard procedures to process employment, attendance, and other records and to ensure accuracy. Additionally, Human Resources Supervisor typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Human Resources Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. Field Supervisor/Sergeant

    Summary/Objective: The Field Supervisor/Sergeant position requires overseeing all officers during each shift, with responsibilities split evenly between in-office and fieldwork. Candidates must have prior security experience and demonstrated management/supervisory experience. The role involves leading by example through strict adherence to DMS policies, standards, and our code of ethics. This role is crucial for maintaining accountability and fostering professionalism.

    Essential Functions:

    1. Check on officers and ensure their needs are met.

    2. Conduct thorough inspections of sites to identify and address any hazards, security concerns, or potential risks to our Officers, vehicles, or clients.

    3. Inspecting vehicles in the field. To include a 360-degree exterior vehicle inspection, and interior inspection on all vehicles in the field at least twice a week.

    4. On the Job Training, both for patrol and static locations.

    5. Assisting in the development and reinforcement of a positive culture company wide. Denver Metro Security.

    6. Verifying adequate staffing levels at all sites. In the event of a call-out or absence without notification, the Sergeant will promptly notify administrative staff and/or maintain the post until relieved.

    7. Will promptly respond to all Officer-related calls in the field and provide necessary back up and assistance.

    8. The Field Supervisor/Sergeant must promptly respond to all calls for assistance from officers and ensure appropriate follow-up actions.

    9. The Field Supervisor/Sergeant will handle on-call responsibilities and follow up notifications.

    10. The Field Supervisor/Sergeant will handle all special reports and advise management teams per notification requirements.

    11. As an administrative role in the office, the Field Supervisor/Sergeant will review all Track Tic reports promptly each morning. This includes, but is not limited to, reviewing Daily logs, vehicle records, and incident reports.

    12. The Field Supervisor/Sergeant will ensure all officers have checked in and reported for duty on time using the Track Tic program and supervisor phone.

    13. Maintain the incident report database for daily incidents.

    14. Must possess computer skills including but not limited to Microsoft Office, Track Tic, and other 3rd party programs.

    Supervisory Responsibility

    This position is responsible for supervising:

    ● Will operate as the highest-ranking supervisor for all incidents on sites until relieved by a Lieutenant or higher.

    ● Will assist in the improvement and training of Officers on a Performance Improvement Plan (P.I.P.)

    ● While on duty, will maintain the patrol/supervisor phone. Responding to all calls in a professional, courteous, and prompt manner.

    ● To train DMS Officers and build professional relationships that will see DMS generating quality services at all locations.

    ● Upholding all DMS policies, standards, and the code of ethics we strictly adhere to.

    Work Environment

    This role entails both indoor and outdoor responsibilities, necessitating vigilance in potentially hazardous environments such as construction zones, open areas, and locations with safety risks. These responsibilities may necessitate work in various weather, including extreme heat, extreme cold, or blizzard conditions.

    Physical Demands

    The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to perform the essential functions of this job successfully. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or listen. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. This position requires the ability to lift products occasionally and supplies, up to 20 pounds and to bend and stand as necessary.

    Ability to work in various environments, including inclement weather, occasional lifting or carrying of up to 40 pounds, climbing stairs, ramps, or ladders as needed, and standing or walking on various surfaces for extended periods.

    Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

    The intended work week is Saturday, Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday but must be flexible. 10 Hr. shifts. Evening, weekend, and holiday work is required. This is an evolving position, weekly, monthly, and to the needs of the Division. Therefore, flexibility is a key element of this position.

    Travel

    Officers are required to travel to job postings as needed, travel is required and may be up to an hour away from the company office in the local area. Overnight travel to the local area may be required. Officers will be required to complete DMS's 40-hour training at the company office at 1320 Simms Street #100 Lakewood, CO 80401.




    Requirements

    Required Education and Experience

    1. High School Diploma - or the equivalent (for example, GED) Some College Courses

    2. Fluent in English, proficiency in ready and writing.

    Additional Eligibility Qualifications

    1. Have been with Denver Metro Security Inc. for at least 6 months.

    2. One year of previous supervisory experience.

    3. P.O.S.T. Certified

    4. A bachelor’s degree in criminal justice or a related field.

    5. You may not have received a write-up in the last 90 days.

    Work Authorization/Security Clearance (if applicable)

    Employee must be authorized to work in the United States and must possess a valid driver’s license.
