Hydraulic Technician jobs in Michigan
Hydraulic Technician troubleshoots, diagnoses, repairs, reconditions, and services all hydraulic machines, systems, and components. Communicates findings and recommendations to customer and management. Being a Hydraulic Technician must be proficient in basic cylinder assembly and teardown skills. Typically requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Additionally, Hydraulic Technician typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Hydraulic Technician possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Job Title: Hydraulic Technician
Job Location: New Baltimore, MI
Salary: $15-$25/hour (40 hour work week, overtime as needed)
Requirements: Hydraulic Pumps, Motors, Valves, Assembly, Repair
What You Will Be Doing- Assemble industrial and mobile hydraulic components including pumps, motors, valves, and sub assemblies; brands include Vickers, Racine, Rexroth, Denison, Parker, Oilgear, Eaton, and Danfoss
- Disassemble and evaluate various components for repair
- Assemble components with new or remanufactured parts
- Assemble units according to manufacturer specifications
- Prep and / or test completed unit
- Identify parts to be added to inventory
- Clean, organize, and maintain the Shop and Shop equipment
- High school diploma/G.E.D. minimum or a combination of related training and experience
- 1 years in fluid power assembly experience
- Mechanical aptitude required
- Ability read hydraulic schematic drawings
- Must be able to lift up to 75lbs; position requires standing, bending and kneeling 95% to 100% of the workday
