Hydraulic Technician jobs in Washington
Hydraulic Technician troubleshoots, diagnoses, repairs, reconditions, and services all hydraulic machines, systems, and components. Communicates findings and recommendations to customer and management. Being a Hydraulic Technician must be proficient in basic cylinder assembly and teardown skills. Typically requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Additionally, Hydraulic Technician typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Hydraulic Technician possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Hydraulic Technician to join our team. As a Hydraulic Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining hydraulic systems and components. This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical skills and attention to detail.Responsibilities:
- Inspect hydraulic systems and identify any issues or malfunctions
- Perform repairs and maintenance on hydraulic systems, including replacing hoses, seals, valves, and pumps
- Test hydraulic systems to ensure proper functioning and performance
- Use power tools and specialized equipment to disassemble, clean, and reassemble hydraulic components
- Diagnose and troubleshoot hydraulic system problems using automotive diagnostics tools
- Fabricate or modify hydraulic components as needed
- Collaborate with other technicians and team members to complete projects efficiently
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client concerns and answering questionsSkills:
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems and components
- Proficient in using power tools for equipment repair
- Familiarity with Caterpillar equipment is a plus
- Experience in brake repair and maintenance
- Ability to dig into complex technical issues and find effective solutions
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $26.42 - $31.82 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
