Communicates findings and recommendations to customer and supervisor. Being a Hydraulic Technician, Sr. must be proficient at handling cylinders, pumps, motor and valve components, and with advanced hydraulic systems. Utilizes available resources to conduct technical research. Additionally, Hydraulic Technician, Sr. requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Hydraulic Technician, Sr. works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. The Hydraulic Component Rebuild Technician/Mechanic is responsible for completing the disassembly and assembly of Caterpillar hydraulic cylinders, pumps, motors, hydraulic hammers, compactors, valves and other hydraulic attachments according to manufacturer specifications in a manner that reflects the company’s vision of working as “One Professional Team."
Position: Class B-Journey Technician.
Pay: $29.11 - $50.00 per hour
Pay is dependent upon education & experience.
