Responsibilities: - Perform hydraulic repairs and maintenance on various types of equipment - Diagnose and troubleshoot hydraulic system issues - Repair or replace faulty hydraulic components such as pumps, valves, cylinders, and hoses - Conduct inspections to identify potential problems and recommend appropriate solutions - Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area - Keep accurate records of repairs, maintenance activities, and parts inventory Skills: - Strong automotive repair skills with a focus on hydraulic systems - Solid mechanical knowledge and understanding of hydraulic principles - Experience working as a mechanic or in a similar role - Proficiency in working with shocks, struts, and other suspension components - Ability to perform heavy lifting as required for equipment repairs - Knowledge of power tools and their safe operation - Familiarity with heavy equipment operation is a plus - Basic electrical knowledge for troubleshooting hydraulic systems Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
