Hyperbaric Technician jobs in the United States

Northeast Ohio Hyperbaric Center seeks individuals to employ as a Hyperbaric Technician. Responsibilities Include:

• To prepare, educate and orient patients about Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy
• Safely operate and attend the hyperbaric chamber sessions
• Accurately obtains and documents patient assessment and vital signs
• Safely transports patients to/from the hyperbaric chamber (lift/assist from a wheelchair)
• Accurately document patient information in the Electronic Health Record system
• Cleans the hyperbaric chamber, clinical equipment and patient care areas with approved cleaning agents
• Communicate any abnormal patient assessment findings with HBO physician
• Maintain accurate chamber treatment log
• Knowledge of Infection Control, HIPPA and JCHAO regulatory standards per hospital policy provided during training
• Positively interact with fellow staff and patients in a friendly & professional manner
• Other duties as needed

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• BLS Certification (must have current certification upon hire and maintain during employment)
• Superior customer service, communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work within the scheduled center operational hours: Mon. - Fri. 7:00 a.m. -4:30 p.m.
• Ability to adhere to safety protocols

Conditions of Employment:

• Successful completion of Mobile Hyperbaric Centers' training program

Successful completion of post-offer, pre-employment background check and drug screen
