Immigration Specialist oversees immigration programs and assists foreign nationals with immigration procedures. Ensures all paperwork, including applications for immigration and visas are completed accurately and in a timely manner. Being an Immigration Specialist processes tax treaty evaluations and withholding categories for all visa recipients. Reviews immigration procedures and legal status of foreign employees. Additionally, Immigration Specialist may be responsible for compliance with all applicable rules and regulations. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Immigration Specialist work is generally independent and collaborative in nature.     IBP Immigration Law is seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Full Time Document Specialist to join our dedicated team. As an Immigration Document Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting our legal team and ensuring the success of our clients' immigration processes. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

    Responsibilities:

    • Maintain and organize case files, track deadlines, and ensure that all documents are in order.
    • Process all office mail and add information to clients’ files.
    • Prepare immigration forms (N-400, I-130, I-539, I-485, I-765, I-131, I-864, I-751, G-639, FBI Background Checks, others) ensuring accuracy.
    • Perform general administrative tasks, including answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, and managing correspondence.
    • Enter data in electronic and systems to ensure easy access to case-related information.
    • Perform other duties as assigned to support the case managers and attorneys.

    Requirements:

    • Excellent fluency in English. Portuguese is a plus.
    • At least 1 year of experience in a similar setting is preferred.
    • High school diploma.
    • Knowledge of immigration forms and basic procedures.
    • Comfortable with professional communication and excellent intrapersonal skills.
    • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and computer systems.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Meticulous attention to detail.

    Salary:
    The salary for this position ranges between $19-$20 per hour. Compensation package includes medical and dental insurance, paid federal holidays, paid vacation and sick time, and retirement plan participation.

    Location/Hours:

    This is an in-person full time position only. Monday – Friday 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (EST).
