    The Position

    The Manager, OSP Strategy & Material Coordination is responsible for leading Outside Plant (OSP) material coordination efforts, including transfer order administration, OSP construction inventory management, and cabinet installation. They will partner closely with cross-functional teams to drive construction inventory and forecasting needs. Candidates must have the demonstrated ability to effectively lead, influence, and communicate across internal teams. An ideal candidate will be a self-starter, exhibiting strong analytical and critical thinking skills.

    Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Support OSP by providing forecasting, inventory status, training and planning.
    • Develop, implement, monitor and report on cross-functional inventory KPIs/SLAs to ensure effective execution, integration and performance against inventory targets. Propose and implement solutions to improve working capital requirements. Drive inventory control management and metrics (financial risk, accuracy) with upstream stakeholders and cross-functional partners.
    • Build and maintain excellent relationships across and throughout all levels of the organization by providing strong support, operational guidance, and transparent communication.
    • Take initiative to problem-solve and remove obstacles in order to meet deadlines.

    Continuous process improvement to reduce operating costs.

    • Support OSP Material Requests team members; including Address Validation requests, Job Template creation, Transfer Order creation and maintenance, updating of Need-By Dates, and other day-to-day functions
    • Support Cabinet Install team members; including identifying cabinet locations, working with landowners to obtain easements for cabinet placement, regular contact with Construction contractors to track the installation of cabinets - including ROW & power permitting, cross-functional coordination to activate cabinets in the IT Stack and field, and other day-to-day functions

    Qualifications

    • Education:
      • High School Diploma.
      • Bachelor's degree in Business Supply Chain or related field preferred.
    • Experience:
      • 3 years' experience in Telecommunications, OSP Construction, Operations, Supply, or Inventory planning.
    • Key Competencies:
      • Ability to manage multiple projects, strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to work in a cross functional environment.
