Information Technology Director establishes, plans, and administers the overall policies and goals for the information technology department. Analyzes the needs of different departments and determines ways to meet business objectives by modifying existing or developing new information processing systems. Being an Information Technology Director manages the research and selection of IT equipment, applications, and supplies. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Information Technology Director typically reports to a CIO. The Information Technology Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. To be an Information Technology Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience.     This team member will focus on the day-to-day business operations of the technology and node development pillar within the DRAM Engineering Group (DEG).  DEG Technology (DEG-T) ensures leading edge and future technologies intercept smoothly into our DRAM and DRAM-based products.  Your role within this function is to establish, deliver and maintain the processes that result in consistent, precise, and predictable organizational performance to plan. You will drive accuracy, consistency and precision across all DEG-T operational functions.  In this role, you will develop and implement clear and functional business processes, generate actionable data and reporting, manage special projects aligned to your skills and capabilities and support core DEG-T and DEG functions and leadership.

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

    Deliver critical operational priorities of the organization

    • Oversee all business operations for DEG-T globally, including maintaining oversight and intimate knowledge of organization headcount, operating expense budget and capital budget
    • Monitor and consistently update staff on performance to plan
    • Develop processes and policies to drive consistency across the DEG-T organization
    • Develop and maintain up to date repositories for critical organizational data, i.e. ‘single source of truth’ data for staff to reference continuously
    • Implement and oversee key metrics to ensure predictable delivery of committed objectives
    • Deliver crisp and clear graphical and numerical representations of roadmap, budget and/or organizational scenarios
    • Develop and maintain close working partnerships with Finance and People Organization stakeholders

     

    Drive special projects for DEG-T Leadership team

    • Program and/or Project management of cross functional or functionally indeterminate initiatives
    • Advocate for DEG Operations initiatives within DEG-T, drive DEG-T deliverables required of the broader organization
    • Partner with stakeholders in peer functions across TPG

     

    Develop, drive and maintain DEG-T engagement  programs

    • Architect and enable the consistent delivery of DEG-T leader messaging through global All Team Member meetings, newsletters, round table forums and Goal/Action dashboards
    • Steward and direct TM led global survey response cohorts, drive actions for DEG-T leadership

     

    Support DEG-T Leaders and Team Members

    • Actively support staff and team members
    • Coach, mentor and advise junior team members
    • Exhibit leadership attributes and drive desired behavior throughout the organization
    • Align internal strategies and communicate line of sight to corporate strategic objectives

     

    Education 

    • Required: Bachelors degree in engineering, business or related field of study
    • Preferred: Masters degree in engineering, business or related field study 

     

    Experience

    • Preferred: 10 years in engineering and/or operational roles
