Additionally, Information Technology Director typically reports to a CIO. The Information Technology Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. To be an Information Technology Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. - Collaborate with other departments to understand their technology needs and provide effective solutions.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation within the organization.
- Oversee IT budgets, vendor relationships, and assist in contract negotiations.
- Provide creative and simple solutions in relation to data delivery to clients, vendors, and staff.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Proven experience in a leadership role within Information Technology.
- Solid understanding and practical use Microsoft SQL Server
- Working knowledge of Visual Basic and Powershell.
- Can utilize SharePoint in conjunction with our Vendors and Clients.
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and emerging technologies.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute IT strategies that align with business goals.
