• 2nd Shift: 2p - 1030pm
• 3rd Shift: 10:00p - 6:30a
• Train on 1st shift: 6am - 230pm

Role Overview:

As a Machine Operator, you'll be at the heart of our production operations, driving excellence on Bag Making Machines. From monitoring machine workflow to ensuring top-notch quality control, your role will be diverse and impactful. Get ready to dive into reading engineering drawings, making mechanical and computerized adjustments, and switching out tools like a pro.

Training:

Embark on a thrilling 90-day training adventure on the first shift, where you'll master the ins and outs of our operations. Upon conquering this phase, you'll be primed for action on the shift that matches your stellar performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Machine Setup and Operation:
• Set up injection molding machines according to specifications.
• Operate machines to produce parts according to production schedules.
• Adjust machine settings to optimize production and ensure quality.
• Quality Control:
• Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet quality standards.
• Perform routine quality checks and document findings.
• Work with quality control team to resolve any quality issues.
• Troubleshooting and Maintenance:
• Identify and troubleshoot machine malfunctions and perform minor repairs.
• Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance.
• Report major issues to maintenance or engineering teams.
• Safety and Compliance:
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Comply with company policies and procedures, including those related to health and safety.
• Documentation and Reporting:
• Maintain accurate production logs, including quantities produced, machine settings, and any issues encountered.
• Report production data and any discrepancies to supervisors.

Qualifications:

• Education:
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical or vocational training in injection molding or a related field preferred.
• Experience:
• Previous experience operating injection molding machines required.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Skills:
• Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of machine operation.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting.
• Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
