Command Electronics is a family-owned manufacturer and distributor of 12-volt lighting and accessories serving the recreational vehicle, agricultural, cargo trailer, marine and truck industries. Command is a domestic manufacturer: 80% of our products are made at our plant in south central Michigan. We have injection molding capabilities as well as expertise in wire harnesses and general assembly.

Our company is seeking a machine operator to join our team. We are looking for dedicated individuals who always show up for work on time and who thrive in a team-oriented environment.

Full-Time schedule consists of 4- ten-hour shifts Mon-Thurs 6:00am - 4:30 pm. We offer competitive compensation and benefit package including BCN health and vision insurance, Delta Dental insurance, 401K, paid vacation and more.

Under the direct supervision of the shift supervisor, the Machine Operator/Production Inspector is assigned to:

• Standardized work of routine nature involving molding machine operation and/or assembly of molded part.
• Work generally involves the use of simple hand tools, trimming, retrieving, counting, weighing, packing and general overall inspection of part.

Responsibilities include;

• Placement and removal of parts from fixtures.
• Monitoring and recording quality assurance, including charting of machine factors affecting quality.
• Machine Operators/Production Inspectors are required to perform continuous visual and manual quality checks in accordance with standardized guidelines.
• Contribute to positive team environment

Team Member Skills;

• Experience with power and hand tools is a plus
• Basic math and communication skills required
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. is required
• Ability to stand, walk, and sit for long periods is required
