Instructor - Chemistry jobs in Oklahoma

The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at The University of Tulsa invites applications for a non-tenure-track position as an Instructor of Chemistry and Biochemistry starting August 2024. A The position will involve both lecture and lab instruction, focused primarily on the entry level chemistry courses. Candidates who are particularly passionate about student success in entry level chemistry courses are especially encouraged to apply.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Masters or Ph.D. in Chemistry or a closely related field is required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous teaching experience

Physical Demands

• Typing/Keyboarding: Proficiency in typing and using a computer keyboard for extended periods.
• Speaking: Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Reaching: Ability to reach for items on shelves or in cabinets.
• Manual Dexterity: Ability to use hands and fingers to operate office equipment, handle files, and perform other tasks.
