Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Instructor - Economics typically reports to a department head. Has a Master's degree or is a PhD candidate in the applicable field. Has experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate level and possesses the qualifications to participate in research. We Are Looking For a Candidate With
Experience: 2 years’ data analysis experience in any of the following areas: Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Actuarial, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, or Accounting
Education: Bachelor’s Degree Math, Statistics, Data Science, Actuarial, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, Accounting, or related field; or equivalent work experience (Two years’ relevant work experience is equivalent to one-year college)- Examine and identify data patterns and trends to help answer business questions and improve decision making.
- Perform analytic research, experience studies, and statistical analyses and calculations.
- Research and apply knowledge of existing and emerging statistical and data science principles, theories, and techniques.
- Explain analysis to technical and non-technical audiences of both internal and external customers, including senior leadership and physicians.
- Make proficient use of spreadsheets (Excel), programming languages (SQL, R, Python, etc.), and other relevant software to capture and manipulate data and complete modeling tasks.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
